This week I was watching a segment of "Morning Joe" where his co-host Mika Brzezinski was talking about a forum she hosted based on a book she authored called "Knowing Your Value: Women, Money and Getting What You're Worth." The book discusses how important it is as well as the challenges faced by women when it comes to both knowing their value in the workplace as well as getting the compensation & recognition they deserve for their effort. She had many visiting speakers there, one of whom was Senator Elizabeth Warren who may have summed up the importance of knowing one's value in one line that definitely makes it "line of the week":
She said, "if you don't have a seat at the table, then more likely than not, you are on the menu! "
