It's been a long time now since I have posted a "line of the week" but freshman senator Elizabeth Warren-[D-MA] came up with a beauty!. The senate finance committee held a hearing in Washington D.C. so she had the opportunity to grill the federal regulators about the banking disaster a few years back. She asked them the question most of us ordinary folk want to know which is why no one was brought to trial?
About this Warren asked:
"...when did 'too big to fail' become' too big to try [in court]'...!?"
The answer to this question is as a now famous [or perhaps infamous] gossip magazine used to say, something "inquiring minds want to know!" Then again one also has also has to wonder why it has taken this long for someone to ask the question!
